If hydrocarbons such as oil or fuel are rinsed off by rainwater, this waste water is treated in two large separator plants comprising a slit chamber, petrol/oil separator and coalescence separator. The treated waste water can then be directed to the drain.
Our chip areas are drained using an emulsion splitting plant where the emulsions are removed from the waste water. The splitting plant is subject to ongoing development in order to comply with developments in the area of emulsion technology. The waste water is then directed to the municipal sewage network
All plants as well as the sewage network are examined for tightness on a regular basis.
In addition, we also have our waste water analysed by an independent test laboratory at regular intervals.
