About us

Our company has been active in the area of secondary raw materials in Osnabrück since 1923, moving to our current location at Osnabrück harbour during the 1980s. The Osnabrück branch of Klöckner & Co. AG was acquired by Georgsmarienhütte Holding GmbH on 1st January 1995 and has been operating under the name of RRO Rohstoff Recycling Osnabrück GmbH ever since. Apart from the facilities owned by the Georgsmarienhütte Group of Companies, RRO also supplies other customers in Germany and abroad with steel scrap and non-ferrous metals.

Thanks to its convenient location in Osnabrück's harbour, the RRO scrapyard is easily reached by water, road and rail. The storage area with extensive loading and unloading capacity permits stocks of up to 45,000 tonnes of various scrap grades. Apart from loading and unloading, RRO also operates a variety of processing plants in order to supply single-grade scrap in accordance with our customers' quality requirements.

Adolf Ellermann GmbH, also a member of Georgsmarienhütte Holding GmbH since 1995, processes steel and metal scrap from the steel and metal-processing industry, craftsmen's establishments and private suppliers as well as trading steel scrap, non-ferrous metals and alloyed steel scrap.
